How does traditional Chinese medicine differentially diagnose and treat hair loss?
TCM dialectical treatment of hair loss can be divided into the following five types:
1. Kidney deficiency type: Kidney deficiency is considered to be one of the main causes of hair loss. This type of hair loss is usually accompanied by symptoms such as the gradual widening of the area of hair loss, dry and dull hair.
2. Qi and blood deficiency type: the main cause of hair loss is insufficient qi and blood in the body, usually accompanied by dizziness, fatigue, pale complexion and other symptoms.
3. Blood stasis type: poor blood circulation, resulting in insufficient blood supply to hair follicles, hair loss in this case is usually accompanied by itching of the scalp, hair root pain and other symptoms.
4. Qi stagnation type: qi stagnation hair loss is usually accompanied by scalp greasy, headache, dizziness and other symptoms, mostly related to stress or emotion.
5. Damp-heat type: This type of hair loss is usually accompanied by greasy scalp, hair follicles are susceptible to infection, dandruff or inflammation.
Each dialectical type has a different TCM treatment method, and dialectical treatment is the core concept of TCM. It aims to adjust the balance of Yin and Yang and the five elements of the body to restore the health and balance of the body, and then treat hair loss.
