As it turned out, the woman was over 200 years old, while the elderly man was in his nineties. He was scolded because he refused to follow the clan's tradition of consuming herbal remedies, which had led to premature aging and blurred vision. Astonished, the merchants sought advice from the long-lived woman on the secret to her longevity.
