Goji Berry's Story

During the Han Dynasty in ancient China, a group of merchants from the Western Regions arrived along the Silk Road. One evening, as they were lodging at an inn, they witnessed a woman scolding an elderly man. Curious, the merchants approached and asked, "Why are you scolding this old man?" The woman replied, "I'm disciplining my grandson. What's that got to do with you?" This response surprised everyone.

As it turned out, the woman was over 200 years old, while the elderly man was in his nineties. He was scolded because he refused to follow the clan's tradition of consuming herbal remedies, which had led to premature aging and blurred vision. Astonished, the merchants sought advice from the long-lived woman on the secret to her longevity. Seeing their sincerity, the woman revealed that she consumed Goji berries throughout the four seasons. Subsequently, many people began to drink Goji berry tea in the hopes of prolonging their lives.
