Uterine fibroid moxibustion

Main acupoints: Baliao (BL31-BL34), Guanyuan (CV4), and Zi Gong point.

Supplementary acupoints: Xuehai (SP10), and Sanyinjiao (SP6).

matters need attention

1.Moxibustion on each main acupoint for 20 minutes, and each supplementary acupoint for 15 minutes.

2.This forms one treatment course, conducted continuously for seven days.

3.Stop moxibustion during menstruation and resume after the period ends.

4.Moxibustion should be performed on both sides of the body for the mentioned acupoints.

The locations of the acupoints are as follows:

1.Baliao (BL31-BL34)

The "Shangliao" (上髎), "Ciliao" (次髎), "Zhongliao" (中髎), and "Xialiao" (下髎) points are located in the left and right sides of the first, second, third, and fourth sacral foramina.

2.Guanyuan (CV4)

Located 3 cun below the navel, on the midline of the abdomen.

3.Zi Gong point

In the lower abdomen, below the navel, 4 inches down, and 3 inches to the side of the Zhong Ji(CV3).

4.Xuehai (SP10)

Sit on the side with your knees bent at a 90-degree angle. Use your left palm to align with the center of your right patella (kneecap), with the palm resting on the knee. Your thumb should form an angle of about 45 degrees with the other four fingers, pointing towards the area indicated by the tip of your thumb.

5.Sanyinjiao (SP6)

Located 3 cun() above the inner ankle bone, on the medial side of the tibia.
