Say Fatty Liver (Part 3)
Daily Precautions for Fatty Liver
Weight Loss: Obesity is the biggest obstacle to curing fatty liver. Exercise options include brisk walking, running, swimming, hiking, jumping jacks, skipping rope, cycling, yoga, table tennis, badminton, and more. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise each time.
Dietary Recommendations: Opt for a light diet with plenty of whole grains, legume products, vegetables, and fruits. Choose lean sources of protein such as fish, shrimp, lean beef, and skim milk. Steam or boil your food as the primary cooking method, and reduce or avoid baking and deep-frying.
Avoid Staying Up Late: Staying up late significantly affects the liver's metabolism and detoxification functions. Fatty liver patients should maintain a regular sleep schedule and go to bed early, ensuring rest before 10 PM.
Quit Smoking and Alcohol: Both smoking and alcohol have varying degrees of harm to the liver, especially alcohol. During treatment, alcohol must be strictly avoided.
Maintain a Positive Attitude: Do not let negative emotions like worry and anger arise due to the illness. Stay positive and optimistic.
Avoid Sugary and Carbonated Drinks: Instead of sugary and carbonated beverages, consider herbal teas like lotus leaf and hawthorn. Brew them with hot water and use them as alternatives to regular tea or drinks as they can help with fat reduction.
Use Medication Cautiously: Medications themselves can have varying degrees of impact on the liver. Unless necessary, it is strictly prohibited to take medication or capsules casually. Always consult a professional doctor before taking any medication.
